Meet Sara Harris MBE
I had no idea what I wanted to do when I left school, so I joined the Army! I was a young sixteen-year-old girl when my parents waved me off at Liverpool Lime Street Station to start a new life serving Queen and Country. It was a jam packed adventure and it certainly helped shape the person I’ve become. I’ve been to war. It was a privilege to receive an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List in 2000. I then left the Military in 2001 – what a humbling twelve years it was!
After the Army and prior to what I do today life was lived in the fast line. I was that Corporate girl who had a fantastic career, earned a six figure income and traveled the world.
But I worked day and night.
I Designed a Life I Love!
In 2009 my life changed when I became a mummy. After returning to work, I realised that the career I had wasn’t sustainable with a young daughter. By January 2013 I made the decision to build my own business. I found a business model that fitted around my work and family commitments. Finally I was getting the flexibility and choices I wanted, allowing my career to revolve around my daughter. I was able to say goodbye to the corporate rat race after just sixteen months.
I feel so blessed that I get to help others on a daily basis. I have coached hundreds of other people mentoring them to achieve a better work/life balance. I have had opportunity to inspire and motivate thousands of people towards finding their better future when speaking at events.
Anything is possible with the right mindset and inner belief.
Work for What is Worthwhile – This is Where the Magic Happens.
I have been in the same position in life as you. I’ve had a dream and I have worked hard my entire life, but it was always for someone else to gain. I never thought I would do something solely for me. We all have what it takes to be successful. It just takes a moment of self belief, the right mindset and the right people around us, to allow you to put those dreams into action. I pride myself in helping others build their businesses and success stories. To coach and mentor like-minded people to fulfill their needs and to enable others to stand tall and start believing in themselves again. We all have to dust ourselves off and get back on that horse. What I would say now is:
I can…. I will… Watch me!
